this is getting ridiculous

so this is my 3rd blog.

i attracted some awful, obnoxious, quasi-creepy reader on my first blog, who then followed me onto my second one (which i didn't realize until they started leaving lovely comments again).

so here's my 3rd attempt - which my dear sister leslie asked me to start and showed me how to make private. (she also compiled a nice list of people's email addresses to invite to read - thanks les!)

see. . .i'm going to oxford in the fall for a masters in african studies, and she wants an insight into the world of robes, dining halls, you know - the usual for a university founded in the 12th century. (i'm really curious about it all as well of course - i already feel out of place, and i'm not even at school there yet.) and besides, i really don't mind the distraction of a blog. i should be writing a paper on montaigne right now - but this is a much more pleasant way to spend my time.

so another reason to get excited about moving to oxford, by the way: i discovered last night that dhani harrison, george harrison's son who looks exactly like him, currently resides in oxfordshire. hey - he's only 6 years older than me. you never know. . .

Julianne-
I am SO happy you started a new blog. Yeah for us knowing all about your adventures in England. Believe me, us housefraus who live in the constant sameness of boring suburbia will love to hear of all your adventures... So make sure you have some!
I love that pic of you in the sari, by the way. I can't believe how long your hair is now. It looks great! (my kids are all standing around saying how beautiful you look right now too!)
love you!

seriously, girl - the world of blogs is so incomplete without you in it! I'm so glad that Leslie convinced you to do this a third time - how else will we live through you in our beloved UK?! you look absolutely fabulous in this photo, by the way. Thanks so much for the invite - I'm THRILLED for you in the fullest senceof the word!
* OH and I am very close with a family in Oxfordshire - the Jeremy & Yvonne Jeffcoat-Dick family - I'm sure that in the small world of the church there, you will meet them once you get over there, but they are very dear to me and I wan't y'all to find each other for sure. More on that later - HUGS!

hooray, i'm so glad i can influence you to do things i want you to do. . . :)
and TOTALLY go for dhani harrison. he can play the ukelele just like his dad could, too. :) maybe he'll even be up for a visit to the mormon church, you know, those harrisons are all into spiritual enlightenment and unusual religions . . .

also, for all of us who are wanting to put jooj's link on our blogs, which doesn't really make sense since random people can't read it, maybe we shouldn't put her name in our link list, in case her crazy psycho blogreader also reads ours, but has decided to remain silent for us. just a thought. i linked her by the blog title (paris . . .).

yay, jooj. i am glad you are back in the blogging world. i can't wait to read more about your incredibly interesting life. (i think your life is interesting in provo, too, but i can't wait for oxford.) you can totally marry dahni harrison. then you would have all the money you would ever need to save the world. just make sure he gets baptized first so we can all attend your wedding in the london temple and reception to follow at buckland. i will make your dress. thank you.

1. i feel so cool for being invited to your blog, which always leaves me a much better person for having read it.

2. i feel so cool to think that i might attend your and dhani's wedding ... after he gets baptized, of course! (shoot, with those looks ... it might be negotiable.)
